We have been making paper masc-he fish. I liked doing it even though it is a little tricky.
This week the paper fish making was really fun because we made our own glue and we had heaps of fun putting on fins and tails
I liked doing the paper fish and being in a classroom that is close to the animals. Making the quilts has been exciting along with making new friends.
I have learnt how to make paper masche and I have created a quilt about my life. This week has been super dooper fun for me, coz I am in grade 3
Well done INXS. Keep up your eagerness to learn. Learning can be fun.
Well done INXS. I love your enthusiasm
It sounds like some very exciting and creative work happening! I am really looking forward to seeing all of the fantastic fish and our finished cultural quilt. I am wondering if anyone can share the recipe for the glue that you made, I wouldn’t mind having a go at making papier mache at home.
Mrs K – Mr Dodds says you need flour, water, salt and a touch of charisma when making glue as the charisma is what keeps it all together. With all this bring it to the boil and wait for it to become thicker, then allow it to cool down and you can glue away.
Thanks Mr Bush, fingers crossed I have enough charisma to make it stick!
